Skilled Worker
The Nova Scotia Skilled Worker Stream helps employers hire foreign workers or recently graduated international students for positions that cannot be filled by Canadian citizens or permanent residents. To be eligible, applicants must:
Have a full-time, permanent job offer from a Nova Scotia employer.
Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience (or 6 months for TEER 4 or 5).
Be between 21 and 55 years old.
Hold a high school diploma and meet job-specific qualifications.
Meet language requirements (CLB 5 for TEER 0-3, CLB 4 for TEER 4-5).
Show sufficient financial resources to settle in Nova Scotia.

Occupations in Demand
The Occupations in Demand Stream targets TEER 3, 4, or 5 occupations in Nova Scotia with high labor market demand. Eligible applicants must:
Have a full-time, permanent job offer in specific NOC codes (e.g., Nurse Aides, Light Duty Cleaners, Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators).
Have 1 year of related work experience (6 months with the employer for TEER 4/5 positions).
Be 21 to 55 years old.
Hold a high school diploma and meet job-specific qualifications.
Demonstrate language proficiency at CLB 4 (or higher, depending on the occupation).
Prove sufficient financial resources to settle in Nova Scotia.

Critical Construction Worker Pilot
The Critical Construction Worker Pilot – Job Offer Pathway is for individuals with a full-time, permanent job offer in the construction sector from a Nova Scotia employer in specific NOCs (e.g., Construction Managers, Welders, Electricians, Carpenters, Heavy Equipment Operators).
Eligibility:
Full-time permanent job offer in the construction sector (NAICS 23) from a Nova Scotia employer.
1 year of work experience related to the job.
High school diploma or completion of a construction-specific training program.
Age between 21 to 55 years.
Language proficiency at CLB 5 for TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupations, or CLB 4 for TEER 4 and 5 occupations (proof required even if your first language is English or French).
Sufficient financial resources to settle in Nova Scotia.
Physician Stream
The Physician Stream helps the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) and Izaak Walton Killam Health Centre (IWK) hire general practitioners, family physicians, and specialist physicians to fill positions that cannot be filled by permanent residents or Canadian citizens.
Eligibility:
Open to general practitioners and family physicians (NOC 31102), and specialist physicians (NOC 31100, 31101).
Must have a signed, approved job opportunity with NSHA or IWK.
The opportunity must:
Be on official NSHA or IWK letterhead.
Be signed by an authorized person at NSHA or IWK and by the applicant.
Indicate eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
Indicate eligibility to apply for privileges and credentials with NSHA and IWK.
