Newfoundland and Labrador

The International Entrepreneur stream of Newfoundland and Labrador's Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) targets foreign entrepreneurs interested in establishing or purchasing a business in the province.

 Key eligibility criteria:

• a minimum net worth of CAD 600,000, business experience, and a commitment to investing at least CAD 200,000 in the business.

• Applicants must demonstrate an intention to actively manage the business, create jobs for locals, and live in the province. 

• Candidates need to submit a detailed business plan and meet language requirements. 

The International Graduate stream of Newfoundland and Labrador's Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) targets recent graduates from eligible post-secondary institutions in the province. 

Criteria:

• The applicant must have graduated from a recognized Newfoundland and Labrador institution within the last two years.

• The applicant must have a full-time, permanent job offer from a local employer in a field related to their studies.

• A valid work permit must be in place, with a clear intention to live and work in the province.

• The applicant must meet language and settlement fund requirements.

The Skilled Worker stream of Newfoundland and Labrador's Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is for foreign workers with a job offer in the province. 

Key eligibilities:

• A full-time, permanent job offer from an employer in Newfoundland and Labrador.

• The applicant must have the necessary qualifications, experience, and skills to perform the job.

• The applicant must meet language proficiency requirements.

• Applicants must have legal status in their current country of residence.

• The employer must demonstrate efforts to hire locally before offering the job to a foreign worker.
